The Lirano Wayside Shrine
Placed on a small hill and visible from the town bearing its name, the Sinio Wayside Shrine, is a triangular building with an exposed brick facade and three niches with painted figures. A painting on west side depicting the Madonna, although deteriorated, is still clearly visible.
Its construction is believed to have occurred in the nineteenth century by the Count Vassallo, the noble landlord of Sinio Castle.
