Chapels and Wayside Shrines

There are many chapels and shrines built over the centuries throughout the municipality, testimony of deep-rooted local beliefs. For the most part, this heritage was restored by the city of Sinio in the 1990s. The city plans to continue this work of restoration and improvement by incorporating them in tourist itineraries as they are found in some of the most scenic parts of town.
The chapel of St. Anthony of Padua on the way to Alba (in loc. Molino Nuovo), is of particular interest, as is the Bricchi, Borgata Reale, Camerotto, Gallo, Sappe and Borine Wayside Shrines.
The Chapel of Santa Eufemia and the Lirano Shrine are also noteworthy for their splendid views.
